Varietal - Zinfandel
"
I love this winery and all of the delicious bottles that they create. This zinfandel is no exception. It has a fabulous body but is not to heavy with peppery notes. It was amazing paired with the Beef Tongue Salad at One Market Restaurant:)

Good example of a big fruit Zinfandel. Jammy, smoky, with lots of dark fruits everywhere but this needs to breathe. First impression was how tight this felt. Let it breathe for about an hour and it was better, when I opened it up a day later, it was very very good. Definitely one for the decanter and goes very well with a grilled steak.

An elegant wine with a lush mouth feel filled with ripe dark cherries, cassis, red plums and blueberries.

For a reasonably priced weekly Zin, this is a great option. Light pepper flavor and smooth finish.

This wine is, like, SO Zin Your Face....After selecting the most absurdly marketed Zin in a growing category of absurdly marketed Zins at the grocery store, I discovered this one was made by Cameron Hughes.True to its word, this wine is "jammy, spicey, yummy" but is better consumed before hitting a bar or alongside a Dominos pizza than with proper meal. 14.9%
